The corridors hum incessantly, the low tone pulsating in our heads like a swarm of locusts. The bizarre scribbles on the walls and the jagged cracks in the floors only exacerbate the dull vibration in our brains.

Everything twists and turns. I can’t decipher if we’re walking on the ground or on the ceiling. Reality feels just beyond our grasp...

Our minds move in equally warped directions, overflowed with unnatural urges. Shadows move all around us. Taunting us. Tormenting us.

Or do they? Perhaps they’re not there at all. No. They’re here. We can see ourselves in them. In the darkness. In the void. Oh, how they squirm!
