The floor became a blur and the patterns etched on the stones moved around whimsically, forcing us to grab a hold of the wall for support, so faint and confused did the view make us.
In the next instant, spikes erupted from the ground, dark and menacing, ready to impale anything so unfortunate as to be standing above them.
