The maw spat us onto a living floor, in a room formed from walls of pulsating flesh. Caustic mist bit at our eyes and rogue tentacles reached for our feet. In the middle of the room stood a massive pillar, suspended, caught between up and down. A myriad of body parts from man, beast, and others unknown were held together by some unseen medium, jerking wildly, as they traversed the pillar.

Occasionally, something would come loose... something feral and hungry.

Behind the pillar the fleshy surface calcified as it neared a stone wall. A reinforced metal door sat in the middle with a key inside the lock, temptingly waiting to be turned. When we approached, a sense of immense weight fell upon us. We could barely move closer.
